Matter of Silence/02

‘With Matter of silence/02’ I see the vases as vessels of memory and imagination. By combining old, discarded ceramics with new, handblown glass, the work carries subtle reminders of human interaction.

Rather than offering answers, they invite reflection. By reshaping familiar forms and narratives, they highlight our relationship to one another and to the world around us. The vases become both object and story, extending a quiet invitation to rediscover beauty and connection.

These vases will be on show during Belgian Art and Design Fair BADAFF in Ghent from 19 till 22 March 2026.
